Hi Gypsy,
For most of us here (pardon me for generalizing) prayer IS communication, not supplication.  It's interesting to read of your perceptions of the changes that are definitely going on for all of us, now and in the future.  Not all of us see this as a battle, to me it's just a needed course correction, and it will be bumpier for some than for others.  Awareness of it, and flexibility, seem to be the things that make it easier.

Also, NOT to disagree, just add another voice, I think it's a bigger playing field than just nature vs religion, and the religion isn't limited to just Catholicism/Christianity.  Historically, it's way bigger than that, and starts with the first person to be buried with tools and jewelry, so that they would be better equipped in the world to come.  It's us trying to make assumptions in the face of insufficient evidence.

So, it's also about the way we treat ourselves and the planet, and the lies that get unintentionally told when we try to interpret natural events and end up with a set of codes and rules that becomes a religion.  Even with the best of intentions, there's no way not to end up with distortions, at best.  And anything that's left subject to human interpretation is already on the slippery slope to misinterpretation.  It's not that we don't want to tell the truth, it's just that we're not usually capable of seeing the picture in a big enough way to tell the whole truth.  And, also, we want to find a pattern, to describe a circumstance and then generalize from it, so we can prevent future problems.  Not every situation CAN become a generalization.  Sometimes we have to take what comes and play it as it lays.

Right now, we're being forced to take things as they come, and follow our best instincts, whether or not they make sense.  And that makes for some scary, but exciting and eventful times.  Glad you're along for the ride.

Keep us posted about what you're seeing and feeling!
XOXO
