Ok this is a subject I started searching while I was doing my genealogy. My mothers family is italian, and her mother (my Nina) I remember use to do some things I was very interested in when I was very small. I found this foto of one of my Papa's (grampa's) grandmothers who looked like a "gypsy witch" and couldn't place it for a long time. While I started doing my research I found I was reading on italian witches (strega) and found alot of stuff was exactly as she did. This is when I also became interested in Gypsy's.
A few good books on Stregheria are written by
Raven Grimassi
Leland
and
Gardner.
I have two books by Raven Grimassi.....I had started to read one, when I came into having all these crows in my backyard, and having them follow me down the street to wait at the bus stop for my kids to get home from school. I also notice them more and more when I drive. I read I think 3 chapters and put the books away. I will eventually finish them, but not yet LOL. Not til I can handle those crows <G> in my back yard trees, cawwwwwwwwwing up a storm and not worrying about the neighbors thinking I am reallllly weird.

but from what I have read, they are the best reading tools for this. I am quite sure there are tons more, but remember you will never find ALL the true gifts of a Strega in books. This was a gift that was handed down within the family, and taught by the family mentor/healer/Strega her(him) self.
