Hi all! My goodness I haven't been here in forever! I really do hope everyones well, and maybe someone can help me interpret this dream other than using silly books.

This is the second time (both separated by long periods of time, mind you) that I've had a dream in which I didn't wake up before I  "died". Where I've seemingly gone through the whole process and then either continued to dream in another spiritual state, or just sat up in bed and gone "...whaaaa?"

The first time, it was about a nuclear explosion, and I was on the phone when it happened. Skipping lots of details (because this isn't the one I'm focused on) I ended up getting ont he ground and covering my head, only to experience a very loud roaring, an intense heat tingling feeling that came from my very core and spiraled out and then darkness. Just darkness for what seemed forever. In this dream I didn't wake up right after this darkness though, I "awoke" in a factory setting and had to find stray souls of people who did'nt die at home (weird?) hahaha
Anyway, so I've had this weird sensation before, and now I've had it again last night.

The details are fleeting from me quite quickly, so I'll post what I managed to get written down .

Last night I had a dream it was raining so hard, the backyard was completely flooded minus a few spots, and I kept yelling at my dog to stay out of the water cause he'd smell. There was huge piles of mud that kept rising up, and bubbling and just shifting. It looked like it was alive, and my dog happily pranced in the places he could walk freely. I casually stepped back inside the backdoor, and all this water came up into my face from the floor, and it started to sink in again. Who ever yelled it , I don't know, but I heard "ITS COMING FROM THE BASEMENT! GO CHECK!"  So I sprinted off towards my beloved batcave to save what I could from the apparent aqua explosion going on.

As I got down the stairs there was a flash, and I don't mean like a camera flash, I mean a flash that literally hurt my eyes and was almost pink because of it's intensity. I just knew that the furnace had exploded. Why it would explode from water is beyond me, but FLASH! BOOM! it went off. I got so warm. Just tingling all over, there was about 2 waves of this heat. And either I was screaming, or someone was screaming for me. But I'm pretty sure I remember hearing it. And then I was just closing my eyes, feeling the heat and the tingling. I can't even explain to you how this tingling feels. Its like my entire chest was asleep, but burning. When you go to walk on a leg that's just waking up and the pins and needles actually hurt. This was centred in my chest, and just seemed to spiral throughout the rest of my body.

In any case, I sat in darkness. Feeling that sensation, and I think something else happened before I woke up, but I really can't remember. There are obviously smaller details that I can kind of picture, but they're too sporadic and make no sense to try to fit into the main things I remember.

If you read all that, I deeply commend you. I don' t expect much help, maybe just a bit of input? I looked up some interpretations about dreaming of death and dying, but the heat and tingling sensations kinda' put a different twist on it. Also, is it the week of the full moon?

I JUST thought of that, because my dreams take a radical twist during that week and a bit before the full moon and during. I dunno why.

I've had a tarot card reading done before and he acknowledged my dreams are very significant, but this is just bizaare.

Oh dear, I've rambled enough, thanks for reading lovelies, be well

-- Michelle

 Hey Michelle,
I'm sure glad you bumped this up,  I had missed it  (sorry).  Sweetie,  from what I've gathered from my astrological friends,  Mercury has been in retrograde for about the last month and for some people.. eeeeekk... Its like full moon x's 50, good news  it ended saturday!  Some people will not soon forget the end of Feb and March 2006.   On to your dream.. and I do hope That what I give resonates something within you.

The First dream,  ( details are important,  but I'll give what I can from whats here.)
Nuclear Bomb
To dream of a nuclear bomb, suggests feelings of helplessness, being threatened and loss of control. You may be experiencing great hostility and rage to the point of being destructive. Alternatively, you may be expressing a desire to wipe out some aspect of yourself. It may also be an indication that something crucial and precious to you has ended and important changes are about to occur.
Telephone
To see or hear a telephone in your dream, signifies a message from your unconscious or some sort of telepathic communication. You may be forced to confront issues which you have tried to avoid. To dream that you are having a telephone conversation with someone your know, signifies an issue that you need to confront with that person. This issue may have to do with letting go some part of yourself
Ground
To dream that you are on the ground, represents your foundation and support system. It is also the boundary between your conscious and unconscious. You may be getting closer in confronting and acknowledging  your unconscious thoughts. The dream may be a pun on being well-grounded and down to earth. It may also be a pun on being grounded. Perhaps you are feeling restricted in some aspects of your life.
Head
To see a head in your dream, signifies wisdom, intellect, understanding and rationality. It may also represent your accomplishments, self-image, and perception of the world.  (mmm.. opine:  By covering your head,  does this mean you wish not to see something or someone in thier true light)
Very Loud:   ATTENTION PLEASE!!
Heat
To feel heat in your dream, indicates a feeling of shame or embarrassment. Alternatively, it represents purity and creative energy.
Spiral
To see a spiral in your dream, indicates that some situation in your waking life is spilling out of control with end. Alternatively, it may mean your creative power and new ideas.
Darkness
To dream that darkness comes upon you, signifies failure in work you may attempt. Darkness is synonymous with the ignorance, unconscious, evil, death, and fear of the unknown. You will overcome your failure if the sun breaks through the darkness. To dream that you are lost in the darkness, denotes feelings of desperation, depression, or insecurity. To dream that you are groping around in the darkness, symbolizes that you have insufficient information to make a clear decision. Do your research and do not rush into making choices
Factory
To dream that you are at a factory, represents repetitious thinking and old way of doing things. It is symbolic of predictability and unchanging habits.
lost Soul
To dream that your soul is leaving your body, represents your feelings of self-guilt. You may have compromised your own beliefs and values. Perhaps you are feeling numb or out of touch with those around you. You need to change some vital part of your waking life in order to feel fully alive and whole again

My humble opinion   Appears to me that your unconscious mind is screaming for you to pay attention.  Someone or something in your life is depleting self,  and because of the power (your power) that you are giving to this other being/thing and choosing not to see.. Hey!  Its red flags!  You know what you need to do for your well being.  Take only what resonates and leave the rest,  And my humble opine is just that.. nothing more.
Wishing you   love and peace deb

It may also suggests that you will receive much joy from your home life.

To see the backyard in your dream, refers to the secrets your are keeping. There are some aspects of your life which remain hidden from view.

To see a raging flood with its muddy debris, signifies that you will have much unsettling occurrences and tribulations in life. Your repressed emotions may be overwhelming you.

Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed.   Alternatively, it represents a deterioration of your instincts. Water
To see water in your dream, symbolizes your unconscious and your emotional state of mind. Water is the living essence of the psyche and the flow of life energy. It is also symbolic of spirituality, knowledge, healing and refreshment. If the water is calm, clear, then it signifies that you are in tune with your spirituality. It denotes serenity, peace of mind, and rejuvenation. If you are splashed by water, then it represents your need to be revitalized and more expressive. To dream that water is boiling, suggests that you are expressing some emotional turmoil. It also may mean that feelings from your unconscious are surfacing and ready to be acknowledged.  To see muddy or dirty water in your dream, indicates that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to devote some time to clarify your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, it suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded. If you are immersed in muddy water, then it indicates that you are in over your head in a situation and are overwhelmed by your emotions. ( in over your head?)

Sinking
To dream that you or something is sinking, suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed and that someone or something is pulling your down. You may be experiencing lowered self-esteem and confidence. Alternatively, some important and significant stage in your life may be coming to an end. Consider what is sinking and its significance.

Who ever yelled it , I don't know, but I heard "ITS COMING FROM THE BASEMENT! GO CHECK!"   ( Red flags sweetie!!)

Flash-light
To see a flash-light in your dream, suggests that you are questioning certain issues about yourself. You may be trying to shed light on your deeper thoughts and/or unconscious feelings. It symbolizes sudden awareness, insight, and the ability to find your way in a situation. Alternatively, the flashlight may imply sexual activities.

Basement

To dream that the basement is in disarray and messy, signifies some confusion in which you need to sort out. It may also represent your perceived faults and shortcomings.

Furnace To see a furnace in your dream, symbolizes power and energy.

BOOM!  Attention!!  And either I was screaming, or someone was screaming for me.

Chest
To see your chest in your dream, signifies confidence, conquest and vitality. Alternatively, it represents feelings of being overwhelmed and being dangerously confronted by something. Consider also if the dream is telling you that there is something that you need to "get off your chest".

I was just closing my eyes, ( there ya go closing your eyes again)

Darkness
To dream that darkness comes upon you, signifies failure in work you may attempt. Darkness is synonymous with the ignorance, unconscious, evil, death, and fear of the unknown. You will overcome your failure if the sun breaks through the darkness

Humble opinion   Michelle theres something that needs changed in your waking life,  I don't know what it is.. but I have a strong feeling that you do.  I think untill you address this issue SEE! your unconscious mind is going to keep giving you the message.  Take what resonates and leave the rest sweetie.

Wishing you the best  deb

Definitly continue to call me your friend:)
I appreciate you getting back to me and helping me kind of get a feel for certain things. I figured I was being told something, since I'm used to my dreams being very graphic and (a t some times) prophetical, but.. I can't seem to figure out what it is.

I've been asking my subconscious to really help me figure it out, and even my spirit guide (though i don't know his or her sex or name haha) but hopefully I'll get a grip on whats going on soon

Please know I really really really appreciate it, and I'm glad that whole phase is over now as well hahaha! But I think the full moon is coming around on Wednesday as well.

I dreamt about carebears last nig ht, so I'm not worried hahahahaha
thank youo so much again!
:)

Sailor - I'm not a dream interpreter as such, but as I read your dream, it appeared to me as many sessions of past life regressions do.  And, past lives often come to us in dreams when we are trying to comprehend something in the present incarnation.

I have no idea of your age, but were you born after the nuclear explosions of WWII in Japan?

Also, in past life therapy, almost always those who have died from an explosion in a past life wander around confused for a time, often for a very long time.  Explosion is so instant, and creates a white light which obliterates the path of ascension - a white light  - to the path of crossing over.  If the explosion is a bomb, or facility such as an oil refinery or electrical station, many can meet their demise in the same instant, and not understanding what has happened, individuals often look for those who were with them when the explosion occurred.

As for the other, water, mud, the tingling, - I had a similar dream years ago - and was told it was a transition dream - from the mundane to the spiritual - and that has turned out to be true.  It's as if you're guides are visiting you and putting you through a process of fine tuning, so you'll be ready for the next level on your soul's journey through this lifetime.

Sounds exciting to me!!!

MY GOODNESS!
I haven't been here in so long I didn't know there were more replies!

Thank you so much, all of you, for your input. The last comment there reaaaaally spoke out to me. I have ridiculous dreams about being someone completely different than who I am.

I believe I have past life regressions very often, it's just hard to tell without much knowledge.

An awaken of sorts would be greatly appreciated, as I asked my spirit guide (even though I can't seem to "hear" his or her name) to help me become more intune with whats around me.

So thats neat! Scary, but neat aha.. again thank you so much.  It feels spectacular to have people tell me what they feel from it.
