Folk Names: Lacris(Welsh), Licourice, Lycorys, Reglisse(Welsh), Sweet Root

 Powers: Lust, Love, Fidelity

(careful here lol this is one of the aphrodisiacs )
It is known to lower potassium if eatten in abundance.
Helps sooth tummy aches.

The root(not the candy) of the licorice acts like an aphrodisiac, it will make you passionate. This is also an aide to help one stop smoking (LOL ha!! I should try this) Licorice is carried to attract love, and has been known to be added to love & lust sachets used in spells to ensure fidelity.

Also makes for a great snack LOL and to keep hubby away(especially the black licorice LOL)(Anise a licorice smelling / tasting herb in liquid form is great in coffee and cookies
