Did you know lilac was a great defence against Moths in your home ? They hate it. Place a sachet or sprinkle some lilac(powdered) in your rooms on the rugs, under burreaus, and in closests to prevent moth infestation. (I know this one first hand ) It also makes for great rug freshners and air freshners as an oil in a vacumn cleaner or burned as a candle. Place some in a musty cellar for fresh outdoorsy smell instead of musty moldy uck in the summer after downpours and winters after snowmelts.

Powers: Exorcism, Protection.Where lilac is planted it will drive away evil. In new England lilacs were planted to keep evil off ones property and protect ones home and family. You can place flowers of lilac in a haunted house to clear up all energies. (or in some event at least make them happy, calm and at peace)

(psssssssss they make a great summer bouquet too   )

Blessings
