Oh Yum........Anise (also put in Sambucca  used in Expresso and italian cookies yyyyyyyummmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!)

This tastes like black licorice, in liquid / (or stronger yet alcoholic) form it is VERY Potent!!

Folk Names:
  Anneys, Aniseseed, Yanisin, Sweet Cumin,
             (Annisette(liquified)          (Sambucca(fermented LOL))
Powers:
Protection, Purification, Youth, Cures a headache(boy does it LOL)

If you make a small pillow or sachet and place it under your pillow at bedtime with anise seed it will help rid nightmares. Use this in meditation and protection incenses.

Anise will help drive off evil and negativity if you place the leaves in a room, it also protects against bad spirits in a magic circle and wards off the evil eye. You can use Anise in baths for purification...and hung on a bedpost it will restore lost youth.

Blessings
RA
