I may not be a "George Bush" groupie, but I'd certainly not like to see a liberal democrat in office.  Then it's back to half your earnings going to the government in tax dollars to pay for all their haircuts, massages, cigars and trysts...and on and on.

I did not join this list thinking we were bashing any one party or another.  I have enjoyed the comments up to this point, but now I don't know if this is a place I want to stay.

Ladypoet, this was all just in fun!!!  Please don't take this as a true put down on President Bush!!!  It wasn't meant that way.

I think that perhaps, you have missed some of the discussions that we've had in here about politics on the "Anything Goes" board (meant as a place to discuss any topic that one feels they want to discuss and meant as a board that those not wishing to discuss other topics don't have to visit if they don't want to.).  We've bashed Canadian Politics (I'm Canadian) and other world issues in a light hearted way.  This was purely a Light Hearted Joking Post!!!  It wasn't meant to be taken seriously as you can see by some of the responses here.

Heavens, if I were really bashing Bush seriously, I'd have to slap myself upside the head for the foibles of Canadian politicians because boy, oh boy are there guffaws GALORE from them!!!!  I've posted some of them on another board over the years and made fun of our politicians!

By the way, Canada is also now under a Conservative Government as well.  The Liberals are second fiddle here.  No political group or politician is perfect and we'll all have gripes with them no matter WHICH PARTY forms the governments!!!  And, heaven only knows.................they're just as nuts and fallible as all of us!  It's just a bit of light hearted humor and NOTHING MORE!!!
