I just saw this on the news tonight .... it's close to home!

Liana White, a 29-year old mother of one has gone missing today .... she is 4 months pregnant.  She left for work this morning at 6:15 am wearing medical scrubs.  She never showed up for work.  Her SUV was found abandoned in a northside parking lot, the driver's door open, her identification strewn nearby.

She is described at 5' 4" tall, 190 lbs ... in the picture on the news, she has long dark brown hair.

Can anyone help?  Do you get any impressions what has happened?  I'll keep watching the news and keep you posted.

K-Galaxie

Karin - this is my impression - and for the family's sake - I hope I am right.

I get that she wigged out a la the "Runaway Bride" and this wigging out really has been brought on by the hormonal changes she is experiencing with her pregnancy.  Even tho there is something about this pregnancy - like she has either lost the baby or was not pregnant.

I'm getting that she may be alive and ran off.  This is what I hope any way.

I'm not really in tune but I am willing to take a chance and post and be wrong.  I've been feeling the need to read again and I have to get back and get started somewhere!

There's my two cents - for her sake, I hope I'm right.  What do you feel about the situation?

E,

You know it's funny, I don't get a dark evil forboding feeling about this either .... it does seem somewhat staged.  FYI they still haven't found her.  They have ruled out the husband as a suspect.

If she is having hormonal changes, they must be serious for her to leave her child behind!

I'm leaving today on a camping trip until July 21 .... when I come back, I'll check the news and see if they have located her.  I haven't run a chart either (too much to get ready!)

E, just on the news tonight:

The body was discovered yesterday (Sunday night).  This afternoon they charged the husband with 2nd degree murder and indignity to a body.  Police will make a public statement tomorrow with more details.

I guess the "Runaway Bride" and feeling of being staged was perhaps what the husband tried to set-up?  We shall see tomorrow ....

Man - Karin - I had a teeny tiny inkling it was the husband but when I saw her pic I just got a different impression.  I kept getting the impression that things were not the way they seemed - with her.  However, I decided to follow the story since you said you were going to be gone.  When they said that HIS search party found her, I said "uh oh".

It will be interesting to see what comes out in this case.

I wish that we were both right tho

Is anyone else disturbed that her husband was arrested for murder a) before the body was identified, and b) before they even knew the cause of death??

I only hope that there was something else they based it on, otherwise it's a terrible abuse of civil rights.

I wonder if she was killed in their home and that is where they found blood evidence.  He then transported the body else where and took her vehicle to her work and threw her id's around making it look like an abduction.
