I have this on reading requests, but maybe it should be here: My grandmother's cat is missing since yesterday, 10/28. I feel terrible because grandma is 87 and the cat is everything to her and it is so sad to hear her cry over him . My first instinct told me he was probably locked in a garage or cellar or something. He's not exactly a friendly cat so I don't believe he went up to anyone. But, it's Halloween, and there are so many freaks out there with their stupid pranks and sacrafices, and now I'm worried harm has come to him. He's kinda big, about 8 yrs old, furry furry black and white - pretty cat. His name is Bootsie. Grandma's son (Uncle Joe) gave her the cat when he was a kitten, and Uncle Joe died a couple years ago of Diabetes complications, so, it's just a special kitty for her. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. If you need further info let me know - [email protected]. Strega, you are familiar with Saints...isn't it St. Francis who is patron saint of animals? Thanks, DeniseNH |

Hi! I'm not Strega but yes St. Francis is correct. I get that bootsie is either with or being protected by an orange tabby. For some reason the orange tabby comes in very strong. I keep seeing a fence, either privacy or white picket, and some garbage cans like there is an alley. I don't think he is dead and I don't think someone has done anything bad to him. Can't get beyond the orange tabby and I don't know why. Look under some nearby porches. Sorry - wish I could be more specific for you! E |

That's probably who Bootsie may be "with." I keep thinking he's with a 'friend' if not locked in somewhere. Wendy

Thank you. I'll tell grandma to look near some cans, possibly under porches etc. Any other help you can offer would be great. I'll keep you posted! |

I heard from grandma and she found her cat! She was so happy she was almost in tears, I am so happy for her now! She's not sure where he was but was fairly certain he was fed because when he came back he was not hungry at all. I haven't talked with her yet (heard the news from my mom) and didn't get a chance to ask about any orange tabby but I will when I see her. DeniseNH |

Yeah. The kitty probably found food on someone's porch and may go back for
more. So, if he does, it's a good possibility he's there again.
