My dad and his family lived in their house for at least 30 years.  It's not an old house - probably built in the 70's.  Me and my step-siblings had many a sleepover and good times in the house with nothing to report.  I'm in my late 30's now.  At dinner the other night, it seems I am the last to know about the spirit in the basement who has been there the entire time we have been there! 

 

My dad's wife, her brother, my two step-sisters and step-brother all began telling stories of things they've seen downstairs in the remodeled basement, which is where the "kids" ended up moving their bedrooms to once we were older teens/young adults.  Pictures being dismantled and off the wall, doors opening and closing, things being moved, locks being unlocked and vice versa.  I just can't believe no one has EVER mentioned this to me!  And I don't ever remember anything like that happening to me, but I wasn't living there of course...only stayed for weekends, etc.
