My MIL has had various health problems for many years now, mostly physiological stuff.
Tonight she called from Florida to say she's back in hospital (just got out a month ago after shoulder surgery) to say they've discovered blood clots in her lungs. Thankfully they caught them now, as it's very likely they (or others) could have ended up in her heart, causing a heart attack! She'll be in hospital till the middle of next week, and under treatment for at least 6-8 months after that.
She's a lovely ole gal, and really deserves a much easier time in later life...her husband died when my hubbie was only 9, and there were 4 other brothers! How she did managed, I'll never know. Her life was on hold till the youngest one got married a few years back. While snowbirding in FL (she's from Canada), she found a lovely MI man and they've been married a few years now. However, they have both been dogged by endless conditions.
They could certainly both use your prayers, but especially Mum, to get her out of hospital, and get this all behind her.
