I had this really weird dream the other night. It didn't scare me awake but it was very vivid so I will post it. People were running around screaming - "look at the old Pan Am building! look at the old Pan Am building!" And I did of course. And I saw on the side of the building at the top the oval blue and white symbol that I think went with Pan Am? Anyway, there was a major explosion at the TOP of the building. And it just so happened that a plane was flying over at the time and it got caught up in what happened and it started to crash. What was weird was that it crashed right into a river. The sidewalks around it were brick and there was even a bridge that went over it. And the people did not seem American to me. So the plane crashes in the river and people are screaming asking someone to dive in and help. So they pull this guy out of the river (a man with a red shirt) and he is ok. End of dream. Anyone know anything about old Pan Am buildings? |

Hi Evi: Wow, do you get any sleep at night between kids and these horrific dreams???? Ok, from what I understand, the old PanAm building in New York is intensely disliked for its architecture and the blocking of the sun into Central Park. It rests on a 10 story base and cement covers the exterior. It is 246 meters tall. It's now called the Metlife building as PanAm sold it to the insurance company in the 1960's or so. Here's a pic of it. Does this help any? Love and Light, Louellen |

I started typing today in the general board about the Wachovia building in NY (I'm assuming it was more than an advertising banner) and I got all shaky. I usually get shaky when I have made a connection with someone and they want to get my attention. So I'm suspecting something is up in the NY area again. I haven't had any recent dreams except for what I wrote in the first post of this thread. I don't even want to connect with what ever wants to get my attention but just thought I'd put my feelings out. Will be praying today for protection of the city. Hope it helps. E |

Just a note I saw a pic of the Prudential building - the logo matches. Hopefully things have been thwarted by now with so many people praying to prevent a terrorist strike. E |

I work in the old Pam Am new Metlife building. we don't like it either. The tempeture is not regulated. The elevators are not the greatest but better than another building I was in. Tired of walking into Grand Centreal and seeing the soldiers ready to fire. The area is still not versed in safety and we make our own deceions when we hear a fire alarm. Hard to hear one from the 15th floor. Rather be back downtown. |

By the way we all know that the buiding is a target, just like we knew about The World Trade Center. Maybe the government should hire some of us workers they may have more commone sense answers than what they are getting now. |

eagleswings I pray pray pray that I am wrong. And now that I have talked to someone who works there - I will most certainly pray for you. I started this thread to try and capture a common string of dreams or premonitions. I think a lot of people had the same dreams about 911 before it happened. Well, keep coming back here and keep an eye out for our posts. Hopefully it was nothing more than a nightmare. Thanks for sharing. E |
