There's another group that I'm sick of that kinda plays into the mistrust and mistreatment of psychics.  This group are the people that PRETEND to be psychic.  The ones that collect money from people and give them readings that are fairly accurate but you know deep down inside they're ripping you off (Miss Cleo for example).  I know of one such person and she has quite a few people that are regulars.  She's ripping them off royally and they don't seem to see it.  I saw right through her the first time I met her (I've never gone to her for a session because of it).  I was talking to her once about spiritual cleansing to see what she had to say and she waved her hands over me and told me I was cleansed (she didn't charge me for it because she thought she was doing me a favour).  I highly doubt that all it takes is a wave over someone's body.  Anyway, I know she's a fraud and it's sad to see because it makes the people that are truly gifted and trying to help mankind look like frauds as well.

Ps i agree that people who pretend to be psychics are the worst, most dispicable people. Im a psychology student and Id like to know: What would make someone pretend to be psychic?  Dont they realize all the harm they cause? I do readings and am still hesitant about it cause I know we have free will and dont want to hurt anyone.

Melanie, no one assumed or thought that you were pointing out anyone on this site.  Don't worry about that at all.  I think maybe my post could have been interpreted that way and that's why I wanted people to know that I didn't mean anyone on this site.

 

I think the biggest reason people pretend to be psychic is because it's a quick way to make some money.  They don't care about anyone or anything but themselves so they don't care if they hurt anyone in the process.  I actually heard of someone in (or near) Detroit that got busted just a few days ago for ripping people off claiming she was cleansing their auras yet asking for major bucks to do so.  The news crew busted her and then the cops did.  She'll have to pay back 8 clients over $10000 and might spend up to 5 years in jail.  Glad to hear she got busted but it's too bad that there are people out there like that.

Hi. The reason I write is, because over my lifetime my grandmother (who has passed away back in 1988) and mother have been able to see things like most of you all can like the first shuttle explosion (Challenger). She dreamt that she was on it and that she started falling out of the sky. Then, when she woke up and turned on the TV, she started yelling for me, my father and sister and described her dream to us. Then, we found out the space shuttle blew up while going into space.

 

But,  I grew up knowing that times my mother and grandmother had feelings about stuff and when they told you. You better take it seriously.

 

As for money gain and stuff like that I am against like asking for lottery numbers and such. Mostly, because I like the most of you all have to work hard for my money and it takes time and energy out of you to do what you do.

 

But, as a child I would have feelings about things and wonder. Now, since I am older, I feel that I have lost that ability. But, I do feel that I lost it, because of things like stress and such. Mostly, because they are few and far between now.

 

So, yes I guess what I am saying is that I repect you all in what you do and as for being demon possessed, I say," Bull Poop!!!!". My mother and grandmother are and were great and extraordinary women whom I loved and love dearly.

 

As for seeking personal knowledge, I think that is great and do seek to learn about interesting things like what you all do for others. Mostly, because I am just curious myself on alot of things other people might see that I don't.

 

So, I am a believer and if anyone tells me to my face that psychic or mediums are fake. I will be more than happy to show them demon possessed or a female devil. Take their pick..... But, just let them tell my mother too or say that to my mom.
