...how suddenly (at least in THESE parts) the media is going NUTS over the issue of climate change.

When I was a little kid in school, some 35 years ago, they were warning us about the perils of pollution back then, so it sure ain't news to me!

However, the issue specifically of global warming is a more recent one, but most of us are well aware of it, but politicians and corporatons didn't really care.

I've heard nothing but news about this for the last several days. I believe there was some symposium very recently and the scientists once again confirmed what they've been saying all along - we'd better smarten up, FAST!

Still, not new news!

So, what has me worried is....do they know something WE don't? Has something immediate happened that they haven't told us about, or do they know for sure that we passed the point of no return. I just find it really odd that the mainstream media is talking about nothing else, as though it warrants headline status.

I'm worried.
