This was written for my 3 year old twin cousins and will be an on-going chapter story each year for these girls as they age.

Be kind because the punctuation and grammar has not been fixed yet and when it is printed there will be illustrations or photos of the girls all through out the story.

Learn to Use Their Wishing Magic<o:p></o:p>

One day grandma (J) was sitting in her rocking chair telling stories to her grandchildren when she decided to tell them the special one about the magical twilight twins. It went something like this-<o:p></o:p>

“It’s my birthday- I’m three!�?shouted Claire. <o:p></o:p>

“It’s my birthday too, and I’m three, too!�?called Molly back to Claire.<o:p></o:p>

The twins were all dressed up in their prettiest dresses for their special day. <v:shape id=_x0000_i1026 style="WIDTH: 92.25pt; HEIGHT: 81pt" type="#_x0000_t75"><v:imagedata o:title="100_1306MA9840209-0001" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\Debbie\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image003.jpg" blacklevel="3932f" gain="69719f" chromakey="#be9dba" cropright="2226f" cropleft="807f" cropbottom="21701f" croptop="434f"></v:imagedata></v:shape> They jumped, danced and hopped around the room. They knew that soon they would be having a lot of fun at their party with all their friends and family. <o:p></o:p>

The girls felt so special as the guests shouted out happy birthday and handed the gifts to the twins when they arrived.<o:p></o:p>

One-by-one the twins opened the gifts. They found toys, clothes, and games inside the pretty packages. They gave everyone hugs and kisses and said, “Thank you!�?lt;o:p></o:p>

Mommy then whispered in their ears, “Claire and Molly, here is a very special gift that has a card on it that says you must only open it tonight at bedtime. I want you to go put it in your room.�?The girls thought this was a fun game to play with mommy so they ran and put it away. <o:p></o:p>

As they blew out their candles on their cake everyone sang Happy Birthday, which made the girls giggle. It sure was a fun party, but soon it was over and everyone had to go home. <o:p></o:p>

After playing with their new toys for a while the girls were very tired so mommy told them it was time to get ready for bed. The girls ran off to brush their teeth. When they got to their room they remembered the other gift! There it was, a very pretty package that had pink ribbon and purple paper wrapped all around the box. <o:p></o:p>

 “What do you think it is, a toy?�?Molly asked.<o:p></o:p>

Claire said, “Maybe it’s candy.�?lt;o:p></o:p>

Both girls started pulling off the paper. When it was unwrapped they heard a beautiful twinkling sound and saw something that looked like clouds and sparkles rising slowly, slowly, up out of the box. How pretty it was!  There were colors of pink, purple, blue, yellow, green, gold, and silver floating all around the room, high above their heads. <o:p></o:p>

What could it be? <o:p></o:p>

Then they heard a very soft voice that said, “Hello Claire and Molly.  I am so glad to see you. I have been waiting a long time to come visit you- ever since the day you were born. Now I will get to see you often because you are Twilight Twins.�?lt;o:p></o:p>

Claire whispered, “What’s that?�?lt;o:p></o:p>

The fairy angel said, “Listen carefully. You are very special little girls and you have a very special wishing magic that only Twilight Twins have.�?lt;o:p></o:p>

The girls both said together, “Magic?�?lt;o:p></o:p>

 “Yes, and my job is to help you. Do you know what twilight means? <o:p></o:p>

The girls both said, “No.�?lt;o:p></o:p>

“Twilight time starts just as the sun goes down, just as it starts to get darker outside. You will only be able to use the special wishing magic during that time before the sun comes up again.  Do you understand?�?asked the fairy angel.<o:p></o:p>

The girls silently nodded their heads yes.<o:p></o:p>

“Now, to use your wishing magic all you do is hold hands, and whisper these words, Twilight Twin Magic and that is when the wishing magic will work. But it will only work if you are trying to help others, and all it takes to make it work is your wishing thoughts,�?said the fairy angel.<o:p></o:p>

The girls knew if they could use their wishing magic they would be so happy.<o:p></o:p>

The pretty sparkling fairy light started to slowly go back into the box along with the pretty twinkling sounds.<o:p></o:p>

The fairy angel sang out to the girls, “Good-by for now Twilight Twins. I’ll see you soon.�?lt;o:p></o:p>

What a special birthday it was for the Twilight Twins. They knew they had been given some very nice gifts, but this was the best gift of all.<o:p></o:p>

Grandma (J) then leaned back in her chair, looked right at her grandchildren, and said, “And that is the story about the magical twilight twins. Someday soon I will tell you more.�?lt;o:p></o:p>
