Sell and get the mobile home...

Don't let anyone give you any hassle because you live in one.

There are far too many people "knocking" the way others live.

I live in one and love the convenience!

Your husband needs to look into a different type of job...

I see a change for him.

We have several friends who live in mobile homes, and the homes are very nice.  I know we'd be happier there.

But, it's the thought of all that junking and packing things, plus family situations that make us unsure.  And, I was in the hospital in Feb. for cellulitis, and still have trouble getting around, making it hard to do some things.

My husband doesn't have many skills, having worked in a factory for 35 yrs., so that limits the job search.  Then, with his age (59), employers don't seem to want to give him a chance.

I don't know where you live and this may sound goofy.  But if this move is also based on finding a job, have you thought about looking at some place like DisneyWorld.  (I'm sure the Florida residents will chime in yay or nay here).  But I know of a lot of retirees who have gotten jobs with Disney and it seems to work out for them fairly well.  It wouldn't be an income you are used to having BUT it would be something and not sure, but maybe benefits too.  And warmer weather.  Just something to think about.
