I'm not sure if anyone has already asked or talked about this, but is it ok to only feed a seed diet? My Keets and Tiels won't touch anything green, but they love millet. I have given them mineral blocks, but one Keet I have gets obssesed with the mineral block and that's all she ate. She is an albino and she ate so much mineral block she turned a little bit yellow. I took it away from her..but I want to give them more than seeds and millet. Thanks for your help.

No  a seed only diet isn't good for them. Try some mixed veggies and mix seed onto them. While your birds are eating the seeds they will also get a nibble of the veggies along with them and might decide they are good. You can also mix up some sweet potato, peanut butter and banana and roll it into some seed as well. Any veggie mixture will do as long as you have the sweet potato in it to keep it sticky.

You can also weave things like kale, and other greens into the cage bars. Keets love to nibble on things so this might spark some interest as well. Nan. P.S Fabio is beautiful!!!

Thanks for the advice. I'll try that.Fabio thinks he is beautiful too. His name isn't Fabio for nothing. Do you happen to know what color he would be called?

http://www.budgies.org/info/colors/blue.html This shows the blue colors and might narrow it down for you. Also here's another page that has a lot of info on them.

Thanks for the pictures! Your Fabio sure has gorgeous colouring ... I really love the picture of him with his wings out!

Now you need to show us a picture of Jetters' new friend, Jada!
