Anyone own a Grey and Eclectus?  When I got my Grey in Dec they had a baby female eclectus they tried to sell me.  She was a Vos.  She was beautiful but seemed shy.  I think the males are gorgeous too.  Ever since I saw that one I have been trying to read up on them.  I think the male would be better suited for me!

Just wondering how much they are like Greys and how much they aren't.

My hubby was even impressed with them.  He has a bad memory but somehow even remembered what kind of bird they were!

I'm with Di as I love the way they look.
Joan had two pair and they were mean little critters but they were breeders.... at a bird show in AL the bird that took top prize was a male eekie... gosh he was georgeous...
NayNay has a female as does Sherry........
So now to trade in half a dozen Too's for a male eekie,  and as my son would say, tell them you'll throw in cages, toys, foods and however much money they want to haul them off

Most of the babies we sell are greys and ekkies-and since we do a lot of repeat business several customers have both. They seem to be a good mix and very compatible to live together-I think because the ekkies are very independent and don't need as much fussing as some of the other birds. I would take a female any day over a male--but only because they are the more industrious and feisty-I like birds with a little attitude.   Katz
