I am trying to locate a breeder that breeds the SI eclectus. I live in NH and there are no breeders in the state it seems. Do any of you know of any and or do you know of any reputable breeders online where you get what you paid for. I bought a pair of quakers once and they were supposed to be pets and come to find out they were wild caught I was so angry.

Thanks,
Brandy

A good place to find a breeder would be through a local bird club, or attend a bird fair/expo.

I did a search for "bird club New  Hampshire".  Wow...not much there, except wild birding clubs.  But here's a page with a couple parrot clubs you could contact (I revised the search to "parrot club New Hampshire"

If you're within reasonable distance of other states, do a similar search for those states.  Also, a search for "bird fair" or "bird expo"

Try looking in a Birdtalk magazine for your state in the back of it.  There are alot of ads in there.
