Hey all yinz guys!
The wife and I will be in attendence at the 1,000th game and would like to get together with yinz for the pah-tay.
We usually park over at Station Square and take the boat over to the stadium (easier to get out from, except if the construction is still going on).
We'd be glad to bring something along to add to the festivities.
We'll be staying at my Mom's in Steubenville so the grandparents get some time with da' grandkid.  However, it's a lot closer than Columbus so we are a little more open to bring "chilled" items.

Lee, Ken died about 3 weeks ago. God rest his soul.

Ken and I went to lunch before we left East Lansing to come to last year's annual tailgate.  He told me, and of course I did not take it seriously, "Before I die, I would like to go to Heinz Field."  So in hindsight, I think Ken was telling me he was going to die and he wanted to go to Pittsburgh b4 that happened.

I have thought about all the things Matt and I wanted to show Ken and we partied instead, telling Ken we would do the tourist thing on our next trip, he just shook his head in agreement.  But at the same time, at least he got to see Heinz.  Remember how he "disappeared" when we got into the stadium and when we found him he was on his cell phone telling someone all about the stadium?  he was so thrilled, he was like a little kid!
Lotsa questions, few answers.

I think Ken did not want to get too close to any of us because he knew he would be leaving us. I also think that he did not want any pictures of any of us  to have around. I just hope Ken now knows how many smiles and laughs he gave all of us.  I do know this much, Lee & Don, Head Weiner Dog, loved you 2 very much and when we left PGH, he turned around and smiled.  He spoke very highly of both of you.  Ken gave all of us a bunch of fond memories, but at the same time, we gave him some fond memories too. That weekend, in my opinion, can not be topped.

I seriously have never met one person who is just totally hilarious.  And his face with all that blackngold on it.  it got all over his pillows so he decided to take it off Monday am b4 we came home........thanks god!

he was gonna wear it home!  Total Nut!  He had me laughing for 3 days.

Lyn:)  Shall wededicate this season to Head Weiner Dog "Ken" ?

Tim, since I do not know you well enough to know if you are joking by all means please feel free at any time to go to member tools and leave the club.  Our aim here is not to offend but we are all adults and a little humor never hurt anyone.  But like I say please feel more than free to leave the club.  that's what it is all about freedom

We have several people banned from the club because of a serious infraction on their part.  I see none on yours so you will NOT be banned by the managers of this club.

Heres to you Tim

Ky Hope!  Cool your gonna be there also!!  I also do the very same thing I park at Station Square and ride the gateway clipper over but we were running late last year so we took a limo about 9 of us.  We put the raider fan in the trunk , I thought it was appropriate.  There is about 6+ of us coming to dat game from southern maryland so its sounds like its gonna be a very good time.

This is how I remember it going down.  You said to me, "Will you hold this for me while I get my picture taken?"  And you handed me a plastic brown bottle fifth of whatever.   It was probably empty.

So we are walking up to the stadium and are almost to the gate area where they frisk you when I realized I had this bottle.  We drive a really long way to see a game and I have no intention of missing it!  Lee or Liz or someone took the bottle and threw it away.

lee do you remember that?

Here is the probably the reason for the whole happening, you had an empty bottle and didn't know what to do with it so you pawned it off on me!~

Lyn:)

Whatever happened it was one helluva good time!~

I know this may jumping the gun a bit but I just wanted to make sure that everyone that is going to the game on Oct 26th was all on the same game plans.  Such as:

Where to meet:
What time to meet:
What to bring:
If need numbers for cell phone which I have no problem giving?
Places where people are staying and so on?
Where people are sitting?

Personally myself I would enjoy meeting everyone at the game and have a great time.  My motto is:   Da more the merrier!!!!
