Who was persecuting the Christians? The law keeping Jews. Proof? Yes!!!!!

11Cor. 11:24--[Paul speaking]~~Of the JEWS five times received I forty stripes save one.

Yes, five different times the law keeping Jews beat the great Apostle with 39 stripes. They tore his back to shreds each time. Think how he suffered; how long it took to get over each of these cruel beatings.

Now, I ask you, IF keeping the law of Moses [and they were]-- made them Holy? Where did it give them any love? I see none in them. They merciless, cruel, and evil. Yet they were the ones ‘keeping the law of Moses�?

v26--.......in perils by mine own country men----now this means those law keeping Jews.

Acts 26:4-- [Paul speaking]--My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;

v5--which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.

v9--I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. [this was while he was a strict, law keeping Jew].

v10--Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I SHUT up in prison, having received authority from the CHIEF PRIESTS; [the laws main rulers]--and when they were put to DEATH, I gave my voice against them.

v11--And I punished them OFT in EVERY SYNAGOGUE, and compelled them to BLASPHEME; and being exceedingly MAD AGAINST them, I PERSECUTED THEM even unto strange cities.

Now, just look at this. This is a man who is living the strictest law keeping Jew of all; yet where did this give him love? or holiness? or compassion? or mercy? or any good nature? Where? He was filled with HATE, MURDER, AND EVIL.

The next few verses tell of Paul’s great conversion to Jesus. Now, I ask you, if law keeping is our holiness and sanctification ~~~~~ WHY did this man living the strictest way of law keeping, have to go and receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and be Baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ to wash away his sins?

Now, watch what happened to him AFTER his conversion to Jesus.

v21--For these causes the JEWS caught me in the temple, and WENT ABOUT TO KILL ME.

See, here it is again!!!!! These ‘religious�?law keeping Jews show this murderous nature again. Now, they want to kill Paul. They are the ones who had Jesus killed. Remember, that Jesus himself testified against them and said they killed ALL the righteous who have ever been slain. WHO DID THIS? Roman Catholic? No!!! Law keeping Jews. So said Jesus. [they are the Catholics].

Paul said they were contrary to all men and to the Lord himself.

Peter showed when the Lord gave him the vision of the animals in that sheet and told him to kill them and eat; Peter said, Not so Lord [see still rebuking the Lord]-- for I have NEVER eaten anything unclean. See? Proving that Peter had been a keeper of Moses law all his life.

Watch him deny the Lord in that state. So, I ask you, if keeping that law is what makes one holy and sanctified, WHY did Peter have to go to Pentecost, receive the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues; and be baptized in water in the Name of Jesus Christ? WHY??????

Look at him afterward-- after Paul showed him to live by faith-- he is a stable Christian, telling Christians not to go by the law of Moses.

Acts 12 shows that it pleased the Jews for Herod to kill James and the other Christians and to put them into prison. Where are they good? What good is keeping that law doing them? Do you see any? I do not.

Acts 13:50--But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised PERSECUTION against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

CASE CLOSED.

This is in answer to Ekklesia's message on Man's relationship to the law;  but I posted it as a new lesson for I think maybe this way more people may read this.  I want you all to get this truth once and forever.
