This is some of our playing stuff on the notepad.  Eric made this.  I am going to try to do some later.  I think I am going to like this.  Isnt this cute?

Well I just wanted to see how this worked,  it is not going to do as a background.  I had this note made for me, but never did know how to use it; how to write on it.

So the only way I knew was to use it as a background.  But it does not work like this for it repeats over and over.

Oh well anyway here it is.

Which Castle is it?  I thought it was Nuernberg, but from that angle, I am not so sure.

Spiritwalker,

Some kind of way you are using the thumbnail instead of the opened up picture.
I did the same thing once when I moved some of my banners into another album, I only copied the thumbnail and thought it would automaticly be able to open it up in the new album.

But it did not work.  I ended up with only the thumbnail instead of the full size picture.  I lost some of our prettiest banners that way.

When I tried to re-copy them from some on other messages they were x-ed out.  For some reason since they were not in the albums, they no longer showed up on board.  It is all a mystery to me.

Hope you still have your full size siggy.  That was so pretty.

As far as which castle that is,  I think you are right bout it.  I remember seeing that name oN one of them we saved.
I have a lot more of them and lighthouses and lovely flowers on my hard drive which Eric and I found and saved.  But they are not in the right format for me to use them.  They do not show up.  I am trying to find a way to convert them into jpg, so I can use them.

I hate to lose them for they are so beautiful.  I downloaded a thing which is supposed to convert them,  that is IF  I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THE THING.

Oh Spiritwalker!  How I would loveeeeeeeeeee to be able to do some of that!  I have always just loved pictures of old castles.  I have some beautiful ones on my hard drive if I could just figure out how to make them show up.  I downloaded a thing which is supposed to change them into jpg so I can use them.

So far I have not had time to try to learn to do it.

Yes, go to that website   for the colorizer and download the first one.  It is such fun to use and play with.  Isaiah just loves his.  I went to his house and taught him how to use it.  He is so smart.  He can learn anything in a minute.  He is working at his daughter's for a few days.  I really miss his being on here.

We get so carrying on with each other on the buddy thinggy late as night and sit here and write to each other until we are both worn out.  but it is such fun.  He has such a quick and funny and good mind!

Well good day to you.  Sure would love to get to go into some of those old castles.

It was so funny how my little Grandson Eric found those pics.  he typed into the search thinggy the words,  Castles of the World.  we got links to toys, books, auctions, etc.  no castles.

Then he typed in Castles of America,  same results.
Then he typed in Medieval castles.  Same resulte.

THEN  he typed in and said out loud as he typed --- castels  do  you  understand.

Guess what?  it took us straight to worlds of beautiful pictures of castles of the world!

Who can ever understand computers?  He could not get over it.  He just kept saying over and over,  castles of the world - get  toys, books junk
castles of america  more toys, junk
medival castels.. more toys etc.

castles  do you  understand ....up comes castles of the world.!  Now I thought this thing only goes by the letters you type in ---- not some child's scolding!  How did it do that?  Mystery to me.  But loved it.

Thank you Joie for the information.  I also have been keeping up with your rainbow writing and I went to that web site....there are 4 different ones to download....I am Windows and Me and I surely do not know which one to download.  I think you told LOL to download the first one.  I think it is pretty writing and I have enjoyed reading about her learning to use it.
I have pictures of castles and once upon a time, I walked the halls of many, climbed many a tall winding road to enter one and it is awesome to be in something that old!  Terribly old!  Travel down roads and come upon ruins of one....had to climb all inside and over it too!  Oh, to be 19 again.....

Hi Spiritwalker,

I just love this beautiful line.  I hope you do not mind that I redid your post.  It was making this thread way too wide.  So I moved the line down under your siggy so it could come back to normal size.

It is so hard to read a thread when you must scroll back and forth.

Love to you,
me

I now have a new account here.  So if any of you wish to e-mail me, use the joie2 account.  I cannot receive any mail at the joie account.

So I set up another account for the purpose of receiving our group's mail.  I have not received any mail from here in quite a long time.

So I needed to do this, in order to receive any mail you send to me.  Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Love to you all,

Joie and joie2.
