I know the advantages and disadvantages with expressing recombinant proteins...but what about Overexpression...

(For what purposes do you Overexpress?)

I was not familiar with the many applications of overexpression until I tried some keyword searches.  Searching [overexpression introduction] gives many articles.  Here are a few that illustrate beneficial responses to overexpression.
