Hi. I was stuck with this one...here is the problem:

Something is wrong with the data for a first order reaction:

[A]0 = 0.100 M

[A]t = 0.900 M

t0 = 0

tt = 10s

Which value is incorrect and why?  What's a better value for the wrong one?

Hi, it's been a while, hope you're doing OK!

 Look at the concentrations of reactant A at time 0 and time t.  As the reaction proceeds, what should happen to the concentration?

Thanks Steve. Yes I am happy to see that you are still around! You are more helpful than you know. Anyhow, I will definitely take another look and see what you think about my answer.

Thanks again!

I should double-check that there's not a typo in the concentration values.  A is a reactant, correct, and not a product?  And the initial concentration of A is given as 0.100 M and the concentration of A after time t has passed is now 0.900 M?
