Would the pH of a solution made by dissolving the following solids in water be less than 7, be equal to 7, or greater than 7? Explain.

 

a) NaCl

 

I know this one is equal to 7, but how do I explain why?

 

b) NaF

c) AlCl3

 

The last two I'm not sure of.

 

If anyone can help me out, that would be awesome!
