..I am sorry you had such a difficult time (with relatives)when your mother was going through her surgery. I wish family would..could get along. But there is many times long standing jealousies in families..and especially when one serves the Lord. This is really not unusual..Jesus even said that our biggest enemies would (could) be those of our own household. I have went through some of that myself in years gone passed. Not with my mother of course..but with other family members. About all we can do is stay close to Jesus and receive His Strength and Love to share with the family when we have the opportunity...many times even that is not received...but stay sweet and gentle anyway...you just never know how your actions or reactions will witness to them. They never forget any of it. Believe me! You and your family are in my prayers...
