That's the address to go to so you can post on the new site. I am trying it out to see how it works. I am also looking at putting us on yahoo. I suppose I should try both to see which one seems to work best for us. I don't want to lose the friendships that we have gained here on this site. If you click on the URL above, it will take you to the site and if you remove the /journal part it should take you where you can join. |

If you can sign into your own Multiply site, then you just need to become a member of the new one. No rush though - I will migrate it first, probably in late November. Then we'll get the memberships working. In the meantime, I have started us one on Google, but again, we don't have to use it until later. |

MrWonder, I Just posted in Christiandebates.Multiply site and think I like it better than Google due to the fact the author can edit any typos of delete his or her post or response. This isn't an option at the Google site as far as I can tell. When you you be determing whether Google or Multiply will be your choice as a community? Don |

Hi Don: When going to this site, you will now see "Member's Posts" on the Home page and a line that says to add a post. We should post from there. You had posted in "Notes" this morning, which is not exactly the right place. Not a problem, but I think I have it set now where it is easier to understand. The weird thing is we post under "Blog" but to add to the blog you have to go to the Home page and look under "Member's Posts" as noted above, and then click the link that lets you add one. If you replying to someone you can stay on the blog page and select "comments" on the post you want to reply to. I don't want to be in a rush to choose which site to stay on. Let's see how both of them do for now. |

Is there a way to stop getting posts forwarded to my email on Multiply? |

Hi Nan, I will see if I can set that for you. How about me forwarding everyone's posts from a dozen sites? Would that be better? |

I can't change that. You must go to your multiply site (the one that belongs to you) and change your email settings for the group. |

Hi Nan, On the Multiply site in the upper, right-hand corner of the page, (beside your user name) you will see the word "settings." Click on that. Then click on "My E-mail Alerts." This brings up a box with many little boxes that you can check or uncheck. Uncheck all the ones that you don't want. For my own personal choice, I have only one box checked and that is the box for "Personal messages to me." When you uncheck those little boxes, the system will quit sending email alerts to your inbox. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help! Hugs, HisAlone |

I did grauate fron college after retiring from the Air Force which seems to have been eaiser than navagating through Multiply Even so I think I like Multiply better than Google because you can edit and or delete which is not an option I've found on Google as yet. Thank for the instructions. Don |
