Let's give this a good try.  I didn't eat as well as I could have yesterday, and I forgive myself for that.  Good Start.  I got in to this group, yeah! Another good start.  Now, I am going to take my medication, and have a healthy breakfast.  If I go for a walk, I won't have the energy to clean the house, which really needs it!  Ugh!  Need energy, darn fibro/arthritis crap.   Play music and move to that while I work, and get Dh to take me to a mall for a walk around later - good plan.

A good plan.  And a good try is the best any of us can do.  Remember, cleaning IS aerobic exercise, especially if you have more than one floor in the house, and stairs to climb.  I find that my sugars drop more while cleaning than when riding my bike, or walking on the treadmill.  So I'm guessing I'm burning more carbs, right?  Keep a watch on your sugars, and see if it holds true for you, too!  HUGS!  sheryl

Trying is the only thing we can do. If we do our best then it has to be good enough.  We all have days where we don't give a crap but the key is to just give it our best shot the next time.
I look forward to getting to know you.

I didn't get much sleep at all, last night.  It seemed like a conspiracy, and my bg was high this morning.  I've been getting some housework done, but the melatonin is upsetting my stomach big time.  Oh, well, I guess that give me more exercise on the stairs, lol.

I slept in today, the first time in many, many months, and it was so worth it.  Except my dd was watching a vampire movie in my room, so I was dreaming  of vampires.

Anyway, my b/s was 8.1 when I got up. I didn't eat well yesterday.  I had a filet of fish minus one bun, but those darned fries - they were actually good.  The girls and I went out to the mall, and I walked from 12:30 - 7:30, except for sitting on 2 occasions.  Using a second pain med really did a difference, and I'll see my vet on Wednesday.

I've just had 1/2 of a chicken roti, and I could have had a whole one but stopped.  I doubt the other half will survive my family, so I don't have to worry about that.

I'm about to embark on a good house cleaning, to be ready for Samhain.  We're also having a family meditation tonight and a spiritual cleaning of the house.  I need to get our Mudroom turned into a Haunted House, so we're going to finish the coffin.  I have my snakes soaking in water, so that they will grow to about 4 feet.

I'm wondering if anyone will read this, as it will sound really odd.

Dinner is going to be brown rice and peas, baked salmon, and tons of veggies.

Yes sweetie.. people do read jurnals.
I have an idea bout that last dinner choice for you that I see posted. Eat the salmon and the veggies, if they are low carb ones and don't mess with peas and rice.

I keep forgetting to keep a journal, so I'm in here, again.  I know it can help.

Yesterday

B.   2 slices mulgrain toast and peanut butter

L.    1/2 chicken roti

D.    brown rice and peas with some veggies

My goodness, I didn't have any snacks, I see.  I wasn't feeling well, still aren't, some virus.

I still don't feel like eating, so I think I'll get some all bran, add raisons, cinnamon, and I use skim milk, and splenda.

Need to do some shopping, need bananas badly.  Need energy.  Need van repaired.  Need to get dh away from tv.  Need to do laundry.  Need to tidy round.  Need my cleaning lady to come back to this country.  How dare she visit her family, how inconsiderate, lol.

So you realy keep a journal of your daily eating and exercise routine. Cool. Well I tryed and found it very diffcult ( and hated it when I realized I was eating more than 2300 cal a day). But I see that you guys are doing and it shows me that it can be done( like it or not). This is the kind of help I've been looking for. Thanks
