Welcome to our family. What does your doctor say about the changes in good control? Perhaps a change in meds might help. Many posters here have been in that situation where what did work doesn't and new plans need to be made.
oh the excitement of diabetes.....lol.... hi Happy...I'm Cheryl been T1 for 33 yrs.... well, let me first say that at least you have one thing going for you..... you're a happy momma.... unless of course you have like 4 or 5 kids and only 3 are angels.... just kidding, hon..... welcome to the group. It's a never ending battle trying to keep up with diabetes and the effects that every day life has on our diabetes.... our systems change so much during our lifetime, it's difficult to decide what is causing what. I'm currently going through menapause and it's been a roller coaster, believe me..... soon to be over with though...... I hope.
Please make yourself comfortable and post any questions, concerns, smiles or vents you may want to...we share just about everything here...... looking forward to getting to know you...... Peace,Cheryl
oh yeh....if you can post in a size 4 or 5 font, it will be easier for our members with eyesight difficulties to read your posts and respond..... diabetes and aging have taken a toll on some of us..... frequent the general board also... everybody always checks that board out. see ya.
As you've discovered, the fluctuations in hormonal levels can reign havoc on your diabetes control. Takes testing and patience, as well as good communication with your health care team. Aerobic exercise can do a lot to help lower high sugars, as well as elevating your moods during this "fickle" time (putting it nicely...)
