I just took a blood sample test as I don't normally take one at night, as I only have to take them every couple of days, but while been on meds I've been checking more often. I took an antibiotic 30 mins ago, and I registered my highest yet 12.4. I've just had to take my simvastatin, and i'm going to check again in a couple of hours before bed to see if its dropped or not. I was surprised it was so high John |

If one has an infection, then one will usually have high readings and assuming you are not using insulin, there is little one can do. Some antibiotics can cause the BGs to be high as well. Traveler100 |
