That sounds very promising.  Looks like it acts like a pancreas!  I'd like being able to have tight control without the hypoglycemic episodes.

I wonder, though, if it'll be able to be used by T2's who are insulin-dependent?

This sounds interesting.  It reminds me of slow release fertilizer only way more complicated, but it's kind of the same premise.  I'm still most interested in research being done by Denise Faustman, MD, PhD http://www.massgeneral.org/diabetes/diabeteslaboratory_programtocure.htm 
This could prove to be a cure for many other diseases as well.
 
Is this posted on the new board site?
 
I haven't been keeping up.
