Hi Pam- Sorry to hear what you have been going through. I have no advice on meds or but I agree that insulin shouldn't be feared. I believe it gives your pancreas a break (instead of working it to death with all sorts of oral meds). If you haven't done so already, please read Dr. Bernsteins book..he has some chapters on this very topic. He speaks of why he believes type 2's need to go on insulin sooner..rather then later. Educate yourself and don't follow your doctors (or anyone elses) advice blindly. Keep us posted on you .... Christine |
