 I am not a Gym person......never was and doubt I'll ever be.  What I found works well for me is walking.  Over 5 years ago I asked a neighbor if I could join her on her nightly walks..........and we've been "walking partners" ever since.  
  
 I eat dinner around 5pm and head out for my 3-mile walk at about 6:30 - 7 o'clock.  We walk at least 5 times per week.  I test before I leave the house and again as soon as I get home.  I carry Starburst candies with me just in case I'm feeling low.  If the weather doesn't cooperate, I am usually forced to walk the "dreaded treadmill".  LOL
