When I  was 17 I  gave birth to my son and had numerous problems while giving birth I  had a 10%  chance of survival when I  did survive they told me I  would never walk again so I  pushed myself hard and did but I  had a relaspe about 4 years ago and now walk with a walker again  I  also have brain damage from the same situation

this disease sucks they said about 4 yrs. ago i will not live 6 months well everything is dead inside and does not work but at least one does lol, i am a cheap date, i am on only liqiuds once in awhile a real meal but i am still going, they do not know how to treat it and if i got it as a kid i would of been gone by know but since it happen at 33 yrs. old they do not know, i went to the mayo clinic in minn. they were great and some nice looking doc's but everyone was so great and treat me like someone, i felt like a queen all you have to pay for is you hotel bil,lot's of money if your there long but the weather stays at 75% and it was just great, althougth all the girls were alittle bigger then me, i am a twig, i wish i had there meat, but space it out in the right places, lol dream on, i stuck with this one, ....i have 3 kids of my own and raised 2 from a marriage so 5 all togather,  they still come see me, with out there dad hear , but anyways, i am just happy to be hear every day and have no room to feel sorry for myself peed off but well what are you gonna do, i try to live life to the fulless even if tends me in  the hospital, for over doing it, but that is a vacation my rest one, then the other i go...go..go.. you will findind me taking walks at 2am just because i cannot sleep why sit there,or i will rake leaves or clean up out side whatever, go dancing when i can what ever, well i do  not  want to write a book ......

So glad to be included here.  It's been a VERY long, painful life, but I'm still here and still willing to make the best life I can.  I managed to give up career, family, friends, financial security when hit with CFIDS, and survived by finding other things that brought a sense of accomplishment and joy.  Over the years the arthritis and "other ills" have slowly erroded away even that.  Most recently, the Fibro (combined with the OA in all major joints) has rendered me nearly house-bound.  I don't like it, and I'm having a hard time accepting this on top of the others, ya know??  Add to that a miserable personal relationship (we "own" a house together... long story) and life just ain't pretty right now.  I really hope to gather information I can use for decision making.... but I also want to support, love, and encourage others.  I've had a few wonderful "cyber-friends" that have held me up over the last few years... and I want to pass it on.

but life goes on.  Things happen for a reason. I welcome all who want to email me. I have a very good out look on life and if you need someone to talk to I have a strong shoulder to cry on or if you just need to laugh.

My husband has been paralyzed since 1995 due to a bullet that is lodged on his spine.  He works fulltime with the help of an assistantand when he gets home he is tired.  I spend most of my time with our 7 and 8 year old girls which is wonderful but sometimes I would love an adult conversation.

I'm a casemanager for United Cerebral Palsy Assoc. and I am just starting my new job this week, this is something I have had to do to help ny son, all of his life so far, and with the medicaid waiver he is living independantly out in the community with supports in place to help him. I was hit by a drunk driver head on going 80 in 1974 and am a disabled vet, age 55, a long time writer, just a quiet soul. I try to help everyone I can. Because I have had IBS for 6 months my diet changed drastically and I hope my Cancer risks have been lowered! All one can do is try to eat healthy and hope for the best! If you have lower back pain, believe me, you do NOT have to accept that back pain. The 2 $25.00 back supports I wear help me to escape 90% or more back pain. I wear them 24-7 and hardly notice them.
