NOONAN, Gertrude, She was born on October 11, 1905 in Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A. She married Bernard Felix and she had children: Mary (deceased---unknown married last name), Barbara Kille (deceased---married to Verne Kille), Bernard Felix (deceased---I think), James Felix (deceased---married to Jean), and Robert Felix (married to Shirley who died a couple of years ago). Gertrude died in February, 1971 in California.

I haven't found the family in the 1860 census as yet.

I should be able to get some Death certificates for those persons that died abt 1908- 1952 in Ohio. The LDS has a website that is being upgraded at present and is off-line this week.

I really hadn't traced the FELIX line back in the Census,but, since you asked about the surname FELIX, I did check the 1920 census.

As you can see the parents of Bernard say that they were born in Maryland as were their parents. The mother Emma Baum, may have been born in Pennsylvania.

I would have to do more research on this family line to determine country of origin.

Are you more interested in the FELIX family or do you want to research both family lines?

NONNAN would take you back to County Clare, Ireland.
