For years our family thought that Elizabeth Phelan who arrived on the Malvina Vidal in l853 from Ireland and was a Laundress was our great great grandmother.  But an enterprising cousin discovered that this lady was from a different family altogether.

Desperately looking for Elizabeth Anne Phelan who died in NSW (July 4, 1876)

when did she arrive, on what vessel, what year and where was she from.  some say Tipperary and that she may have arrived as an unassisted migrant.  Can find no records at all.  Kindly assist
