Zoo - did you see the doctors on the news talking about myths of drinking so much water. Bottom line is what I have said for many years - we drink to replace what we lose and when thirsty. I am sedentary, don't sweat and so would not need the amount you "athletic" types do. The doctors who did the study, etc. said - everything in moderation - including drinking water. Of course, we get fluid in our food also.
