Well - wish me luck - I met with an attorney today who says he thinks he can help me with a medical malpractice suit against the doctor that screwed up my hand!!

I took him copies of the xrays, the reports, (before and after she hurt me!!) and a  letter from my therapist - now he will give it to an orthepedic nurse to review, then if he feels we have a case he will contact an orthedepic surgeon to testify for us.

Sooooo we'll see what happens!!
He is one of the lawyers that collect upon recovery - so if he does go ahead with this, it tells me he thinks we have a strong chance to win - otherwise he could do all the work for nothing - and that ain't gonna happen if he can help it!!

Soooooo wish me luck! He says it could take awhile, but that's ok!

You are lucky to find a doctor that is on your side most doctors will not go against another doctor, my daughter had a brusie by her left eye when she was born I said it was because of the doctor using forsups to deliver her but the the eye doctor said no that things happen like that and now she has had problems seens birth she is now 27 yrs old.

Thanks all

As far as the doctor testifying - here's hoping!!!

The attorney has a couple doctors that have worked with him in the past, and he's going to be contacting them on this.

RR, I hope things go well for you. You deserve to get something for what this doctor did to you. These doctors need to know that they cant get by with doing these kind of things to people. Good Luck !
