Hide Your Email Address Tutorial

Tutorial on How To hide your email address.
I can not stress how important this is due to hackers/people that join sites just to spam your email accounts.
This tutorial will also show you how to prevent getting your email boxes full with digest or post from members.

With all that being said lets get this tutorial started.

First you want to scroll down to the bottom of the navigational bar on the left and click member tools.

Now you will want to click check your email settings

Now you see your email and there will be a box that you can uncheck if it is checked and this will keep your email private and prevent members from spamming your email box and to keep hackers from knowing your email address. This will make things a little harder on the hackers.

This next screen shot that you will see will help you in preventing you email box getting to full with messages from the site that you belong to.You will want to make sure that you have yours set just like the screen shots below

This screen shot if you set your setting like the screen shot below will also prevent you from getting digest from the group that you belong to in some cases it wouldnt matter it is really according to how active the site is.
