Well Im off to to do a little Christmas shopping...I sure hope I can find some good deals. I went shopping for a couple of hours yesterday and then went to my moms...she turned 90 yesterday , gosh I hope I can still be living on my own when Im that old. I got a big laugh today but then kind of sad...Mom gave me a christmas card yesterday but I opened it when I got home...she had give me an anniversary card instead of a christmas card but had writtne merry christmas on the inside of it...I called to tell her so she wouldnt send anyone else this same card by mistake...Bless her heart....She is sliping a little but does pretty good ...I think she got in an hurry and picked up the wrong box of cards. Well hubby is wating on me to get ready so got to run...Hugs Goldie

Goldie, I hope you managed to get a lot of shopping done.
 
I think it is wonderful that your Mom can still live alone.
We have friends in Indiana and both of them ---a couple---are 90, and it is amazing how much those two people can do.  If I make it to 90, I  would like to think I could still live in my house.
Yes, your Mom's heart is in the right place even if she did get into the wrong box of cards.

I sure need to do some Christmas shopping. I just can't seem to find the time. My Mom is 93 but can't get around and is living in a assisted living home. Her mind is still sharp. She always says she is young from the neck up. It's hard to see our parents get old. HUGS Ma
