Dear Group members, I am new to this group, I have many questions to ask, why I chose Groups? In the Groups you may find priests, you may also find average people who are so learned in the books, and sometimes, those average may surprise you with the knowledge they have and the answers they may give. This way, I widened the base of my readers, because I am serious, and seek the knowledge, also the answers to my questions that makes me wonder where is the truth. In my correspondence with you, I will be asking a lot of questions, and by the way, I am discussing the book of John with thousands as we speak, if you wish to join, you have to send me a message asking me to add you.

          My question for today is: the book says in many places, Jesus is sitting on the right hand side of god, please explain this to me, how could Jesus be god, yet sitting on the right hand side of what he is? Although the Hindu belief is based completely on the idea of Incarnation, how god comes down in different times, in different men, also this seems to be accepted by some Christians, and making Trinity and Hinduism close to being one almost in everything. Therefore, if this is the case, then I wonder, how god who came down into the belly of woman, which is the worst place on Earth I may add, then he was born, grown, leaves to Heaven, he does not join back with his old self, but he stands on the right hand of himself, by the LORD I beg you explain this. How he is god, and he is standing on the right side of himself, according to the book of Revelation the Angels sang: Glory to the one sitting on the Throne, and to the one standing on his right side forever and ever. I ask: why Jesus did not join into one piece, why he is still standing on the right side of himself (or how could he stand on his right side), and after he returns to us and leaves back he will continue being on the right side of himself ( I do not know how this possible could), and this will be the case forever and ever, help me out please. I wonder, the one on the Throne, the one standing on the right hand side, who has the Holy Ghost between the two?

          Since I am limited, I do not know how I can stand on my right side, some say: look, you are body, spirit and soul, right? I say yes, they say, then why you cannot accept Trinity? I understand so little, but in my Trinity, can you teach me how I can stand on my right hand side, and look at me without mirrors tricks, because with mirrors I may arrange for a thousand of my image? Until next time from my puzzled heart, to your educated souls wished of love and peace.

I believe you are asking very valid questions, and therefore you shall find the answers if you are seeking with all your heart.

I am pressed for time at the moment but I wanted to let you know I have read your post and will be responding as best I can. I too once asked the questions you are asking and I have found the answers that have satisfied my soul. Have a Blessed day. Redda

Hello Shaheed, glad to have you join us here at Granny's. Your question is not one that can be answered in just a few words, so for this reason I am moving this discussion to the "Bible Study" board. Everyone, Please go there with me. The Bible Study board is located 8th from the top of the list on the left hand side of your screen. I will see you there. Thanks Betty Manager.

The Bible teaches us that God is three unique persons, yet he is ONE GOD. He is God the FATHER, God the SON (JESUS), and God the HOLY SPIRIT. We call this the Trinity*, or triune nature of God*. This is hard to understand, even for adults. However, water is a great example of how something can be three different things, and at the same time remain one thing. Water can be a liquid, a solid (ice), and a gas (vapor/steam).

Even though there are three uniquely different states of water, (liquid, solid, and gas) they are still water. In the same way, these states of water can remind us of the triune nature of God.

The solid form of water (ice) reminds us of God the FATHER. Ice is hard. It is solid. In the same way, God the FATHER is our solid foundation. ("Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you." Psalm 89:14)

The liquid form of water reminds us of God the SON. Water is useful for cleansing. In the same way, God the SON, died on the cross to cleanse us of our sin. ("How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!" Hebrews 9:14)

The gas form of water reminds us of God the HOLY SPIRIT. Gas cannot be seen, but you can see the effects of it. As we did when we saw the water droplets on the plastic, or felt the warmth of the steam from the hot water. In the same way, the HOLY SPIRIT cannot be seen, but the effects of his presence can be seen and felt in our lives as the HOLY SPIRIT works to make his will known to us and to change us to be more like him. ("I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. John 16:12-15 )

The next time you drink a glass of water, or eat an ice cube, or feel the effects of steam, let this lesson on water remind you that God is three Persons in One!

Ok, are we all here? I will begin with my statement of faith, which is the "Trinity":
I Believe;
In; One Living God - The Father, creator of all things.
In; One Son - Jesus Christ.
In; One Holy Spirit (Ghost).

That; the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.

That; the King James Version of the Holy Bible, in its entirety, to be the inspired "Word of God" and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.

In; the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.

In; personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

In; sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.

In; Devine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.

In; Water baptism, in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Act 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. I believe that all of these are available to believers.

In; the Christian's hope the soon - coming rapture and the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

To be continued...

I just realized (as I reread your post) that you stated?/STRONG>(“I am discussing the book of John with thousands as we speak, if you wish to join, you have to send me a message asking me to add you.?

As assistant manager of Granny’s, I was one of the managers that approved you for our group. Yet it seems that your main reason was to solicit members from our group to join you. If this is your main reason. you are out of order here. If I am mistaken, I beg your forgiveness. But if you are at this moment discussing ‘the book of John with thousands?(as you stated in your post) I feel I should ask you, are you seeking sound doctrine ‘truths?here? Are-are you seeking teachers with itchy ears? 2Ti 4:3

I know what your basic question is …you are seeking the answer to the doctrines between trinity and oneness (as millions before you have.) study the word with much prayer and you will find the answer within your own (as you put it) puzzled heart. James tells us in James 1:5-6

?If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.?

Believe me, if you are asking thousands to answer you question you will surely be tossed about like the wave of the sea.

Now for my belief on this subject

I am Trinity and I am Oneness…the two are very interchangeable.Christ said my Father and I are one.

Joh 17:11 reads

¶ And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are My friend used water as an illustration, which is great!

I liken it as an egg…being 3-parts yet one whole?thus I am trinity and I am oneness.' You have egg-shell, egg-white, egg-yoke. But all three are ‘the egg.?/FONT>

So when you hear “God the father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost?from the trinity and/or ‘Jesus only?from the oneness- and if you ‘rightly divide?the word as you seek out the truth. I think you will find that they are both right- it is man that has confused the whole thing.

Dear readers, I was not critical of the Book, the book clearly teaches Jesus is different from God All mighty; I was critical of Trinity and still. Trinity has none Biblical teaching as I see, and until someone can prove me wrong, I have questions to ask, and hope to find good answers as well. I did not criticize the book; on the contrary I quoted it, which is assurance to your heart that I used what we have in the hands. Some misunderstood my question, I did not ask Is Jesus God, this is the title, while in the body I asked how could he sit on the right side of God.

No Sir, you came here to ask us to join your group. You said in your application that you are, and I quote, "Muslim with a lot of questions about Christ, and love for knowledge," and ask us to accept you in our ("Christian") group. So, we started answering your question by telling you what our bliefs are, which is the Trinity. Now you say you are critical of the Trinity until we can prove you wrong.
The book you speak of is the "Holy Bible," the very Word of God and the foundation of us Christians, it's not just the good answer, it is the only answer and the only book we hold in our hands. To believe in the Trinity, you first have to believe in God. You want us to prove "Him" and how Jesus His Son, while in the body form, could sit on the right side of Him. No, we understand completely what you are asking and why. I had prepared the answer to your question after my first post where I said I would begin with my statement of Faith and added (to be continued) because it was storming and I could stay on line at the time. But now I have another answer for you..and will post it below. You Sir, are an atheist!

(sorry, if I type in my pc then paste, it makes a mess so I have to delete and start over.)

Yes, I agree with both methods of Illustration (Water and Egg). I too, was going to post the egg method, as my younger Sister Redda has stated. It is the method our Mother (the woman this site was built in honor of) used when we were children. You are reading and looking at this in the mortal (personage) realm of possible extremes, when you should be praying for understanding in the Spiritual realm and in concept upon concept. Read?Colossians 1:1-29 KJV. Where the Apostle Paul says;

Colossians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Christ lived without sin and died for us as the substitutionary sacrifice for man. By this means it is legally possible for our sins to be forgiven, and for us to be released from the penalty of sin. Jesus' life was of a greater value than all human lives—past, present, and future. Thus, He paid the penalty for sin in our stead. Let us thank God for the sacrifice that was made for us, and for His infinite love. Romans 6:23 KJV..The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 14:6 KJV.. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. So yes, I do believe that “Jesus is God and He sat/sits on the right hand of God!?/SPAN>

Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is an unpardonable sin. Satan will try to confuse and frighten Christians. He knows that if you are afraid, you are not as effective against him. He will try to twist the Word of God and make you believe things that are not true. One cannot be guilty of the unpardonable sin if one is concerned about it, (and I, for one, am concerned at this point). My concern alone reveals (through the Holy Spirit) that I wish not to grieve the Holy Spirit. I here by decline your invitation (spaming, another trick of the devil) to join your group of “thousands?of confusers, (as revealed to me by the Holy Spirit). I rebuke you satan in the name of Jesus!! So, go back to your group or repent and go with God/Jesus Christ. Ask for and accept His forgiveness, for He is faithful to forgive. I will pray for your soul. 1 Corinthians 14:33 JKV..For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Thank you Holy Spirit. I concider my part of this discussion closed.

Love in Christ Jesus. Betty Born Again Child of God..Manager
