Hubby and I had a meeting with my sil and bil this morning to discuss our lack of communication.  And my sil told me that I am about 90% of her problems.  I like my bil but hes obnoxious(sp) most days.  He thinks hes being funny but really being a goof.  Hes hard to have a conversation with because he puts down everything said.  I talk about a concert and he bitches about how much the tickets cost etc.  So pretty much the meeting was a bitchfest about me, and Im feeling pretty shitty right now.  Sorry for going on.

How awful for you Punky....  I would suggest, if you are looking for suggestions, to have a sit down and think about what they said. You need to be very brave and open minded about what was said and tell yourself what was true and what was bullshit. If it's mostly bullshit then I suggest you give it the proverbial two finger salute and move on. If it is mostly bullshit I would want to ask Ross why he was prepared to sit and listen to it and not speak up, presuming he didn't. If there was any truth to it I would take a long hard look at the issue and see if you want to do anything to change it.

You might need to stand up for yourself more too. What happened to the new punky after her op and losing all that weight? Let's see more of her around here...

Awwwwwwww, Punky.  I think Noel had some good advice there.  Just remember, you can choose your friends.  Family you are stuck with, but it doesn't mean you are stuck with thier bullshit too.  None of us are perfect but to have a bitch session about one person is unfair.  If they want to talk, you TALK BACK.  Communication is a 2 way street, and you should tell them how they feel.
