Right I am pissed off with everyone today..... Well not John for a change  The kids go to summer school and I aranged last night for one of Toms friends to come today after. He doesnt like going on the bus so John has organised it so I have his car so I can pick them up from school, I ring up Natty ( his mum ) and she says he is a bit tired today so he could come tomorrow instead This is after they have started and I have already sorted out with the kids this morning to pick them up.....Dont people think.......  She could of bloody well rang earlier. and another one I am pissed off with is Deb my mate here. Her friend is over with her family since Friday and every day she has been saying ' oh we will all have to go out somewhere together ( have met them before ) and Her son Josh is Harrys best mate. Anyhow the kids havent been going to summer school, which is fair enough as they have been spending time with them, But she said yesterday to Harry dont worry, Josh will be there tomorrow and you can come round. Harry all excited as not seem him for a while and she text me this morning to say that he hasnt gone, thats it no mention of Harry going round. I now know it because they all went out to the chinese and after saying that we should all go out together I just feel a bit upset/ I know it seems petty but a few other things like that have happened.... He daughter was having a party on Monday. Before we went to Majorca she said she was having a few adults round as well for a bbq..... Again nothing said since her friends are here and we didnt get asked to go.....Sunday we went to see her girls dance. been talking about it for weeks..... we get to the end of the show and we were going home and off they all trot for a drink not thinking to ask us.........I just feel a bit used as soon as her friend has gone she will expect me to be there for her again and Harry suddenly will be asked around................ I sound a bit pathetic reading this back but I really has annoyed me. I feel better for my rant though.................. They can all piss off.......... |

Nic  I totally understand you being pissed off with them all. It doesnt take much to have a little consideration for peoples feelings, and takes moments to text someone ahead of time to avoid dissapointing the kids. Is Deb a close friend? Could you mention to her that your feeling a bit left out of the loop at the moment. Its so hard isnt it when you know that when her family are gone she'll be back to wanting your company again. I dont really know what else to suggest but sending big hugs to you. |

Im feeling calmer now.....
Just had a bad moment.
Yes she is a good friend, have known her since we first moved here, they came at the same time. So we have shared quite a lot in the last 4 years. I do understand that she wants to spend time with her visitors I will be the same when my mate comes on Sunday for a week, that doesnt bother me, its just the saying we are going to do something or Harry etc and then going ahead and doing it and not saying anything to me especially letting Harry down.... I just wish she would not make these promises and then not go ahead with them... Im saying nothing though, cant be bothered. |
