Dear Dayleen

I have to attend a family gathering over the festive period.
The trouble is my relative will be attempting to serve food for human consumption and i do fear that it will be rather dire.
Would it be terribly rude to arrive armed with sick bags and a litre bottle of gaviscon?
She has a violent temper and I quite frankly fear what will happen if i dont eat her seasonal fayre!
Please help I am at my wits end!

Dear Desperate,

Can't you stage manage a flat tyre outside McDonald's?

Stage manage a fight with Kev where you have a food fight? Just don't hit each other anywhere near the face or genitals...  Rock hard sausage rolls can be dangerous...

Have a very big falling out with the entire family and do not reconcile until the offending night is well and truely over.

Leave the country...
