"The issue is not whether traditional marriage, as it stands, is a perfect institution, but whether society and especially children are better off with it than without. Families with both mothers and fathers are generally better for children than those with only mothers or only fathers. Biological parents usually protect and provide for their children more effectively than non-biological ones."
Calgary Bishop Frederick Henry

In a word........ bollox
I believe that any two people can make great parents, whether they're natural parents, adoptive parents, gay parents, black, white or purple, as long as they are loving, honest, caring, and provide the child with all the basic principles to be a good person etc and provide them with love and warmth, security and food, clothing etc.
I dont believe anyone should be denied the joy of being a parent and raising someone precious to them. Just my opinion of course.

a load of twaddle.......I know kids who would be better off away from their 'natural' parents and a few who have a wonderful loving life with adoptive parents which they may never have received from their own parents.......I suppose in a way he has a point but he just hasn't worded it properly......it is maybe beneficial for a child to have 2 parents whether they live in the same house or not but to say they do better is just rubbish
