What age did you drink the first time?
What age would you let your kids drink?
Do you drink in from of your kids?
Have you ever been drunk in front of your kids?
What age do you think a kid should be legal?

Oooooh.   Depends what you mean by drinking I suppose...lol.  Do you mean a little sip of alcohol or a full glass or 8?  We'll go on the full shabang, eh?...lol.

I got smashed out of my head when I was about 14.   I thought it was beer someone had given me a pint of and it was brandy!   I was soooo ill, thought I was dying.

Alice has had the odd half a lager shandy when we've been on holiday, the odd small glass of wine with orange juice at Christmas, such as that...since she was about 10.   The boys haven't tasted anything yet...lol.

Nope.  The kids are all in bed when I have a glass of plonk or a bottle of Breezer.  I've had the odd Ouzo or beer on holiday in front of Alice though.

Yes!   In front of Alice a couple of months ago...lol.  I was out with Lorraine, my mum was babysitting.  Alice was sleeping at my mums so she was babysitting with her.  I wasn't completely wrecked...not far off though.   Luckily I'm a very happy drunk so she didn't really notice too much...lol.

After what I've written I'd be a bloody hypocrit to say 18, wouldn't I?...rofl.  I would actually say 18 but mainly because the pubs and clubs are so bad for the fighting and what have you...I'd hate to think my kids were in that environment when they were any younger than 18.

i was about 16 when first went into a pub to drink but my mum and dad would let us have a drink indoors on special occassions like xmas but not a lot lol because of this i allowed ciaran to have a glass of wine with his xmas dinner this year although it was watered down with lemonade he 5 terri and ben are allowed on special occassions but not too excess they are 16 and 14 no a little tipsy maybe but it was my 16 yr old as she babysits for us not the younger ones i not sure when i a kid should be legal but i do believe that alcohol should not be a tabboo subject as this is what makes them so want to try it i have allowed mine to occassionally have some like my parents did so i am hoping i am teaching my kids to be sensible with alcohol

What age did you drink the first time? I was about 14  when I first drank more than the odd 1 or 2
What age would you let your kids drink? Depends what you mean by drink.......... they have been allowed the odd bacardi breezer from about 13/14
Do you drink in front of your kids?  course
Have you ever been drunk in front of your kids?  yes
What age do you think a kid should be legal? To drink in public I think 18 seems reasonable - that way they have no chance of being served until they're at least 16!! (Dont get me wrong, I'm not approving of underage drinking...... just being realistic  )

What age did you drink the first time?about 18 (hey, I was a pastor's kid)
What age would you let your kids drink?prolly 18
Do you drink in from of your kids?very occasionally, maybe once or twice ever
Have you ever been drunk in front of your kids?once, last year while camping...normally I can drink a bottle of wine by myself with no problems...just get a little warm and fuzzy if you know what I mean, this time while camping, I drank a bottle of home brewed red wine from a friend....I was drunk by the second glass
What age do you think a kid should be legal?I think like Mumsie, it should be at least 18, that way underage drinking might only start at 16 (here in Canada the legal age is 19)

What age did you drink the first time?
about 14 without my parents knowing and about 10 infront of them at xmas and special ocassions it was a thimble of wine to a gallon of lemonade

What age would you let your kids drink?
Peter has the odd drink now on Sundays if he wants a glass of wine I let him with lots of lemonade over it. He sometimes has sips of Noels beer, here the kids can drink in public from 14 with an adult and 16 on their own. On quintos in Feb every year all the children get gallons of the stuff for the boys going to national service and the younger ones are encouraged by the teens to have some

Do you drink in from of your kids?
Yes I do our thinking is if you hide it it can make it an obsession to get it down them.

Have you ever been drunk in front of your kids?
Yes a few times but not for at least 12 months

What age do you think a kid should be legal?
18 is fine I think but it depends on the maturity of the person as no matter what age ppl can be dipsticks on drink I dont condone underage drinking but I am realistic

What age did you drink the first time?about 12, I seem to recall a bunch of us getting toasted together
What age would you let your kids drink?about 16, but to tell the truth, I wouldn't stop kayleigh from drinking now.  After all, if you can go through brith and raise a baby, I think you are entitled to grown up benefits as well as responsibility
Do you drink in from of your kids?sure
Have you ever been drunk in front of your kids?tipsy, yeah.  Drunk, no.
What age do you think a kid should be legal?I think if at 16 you can have a license, and quit school, well then you should be allowed to drink with an adult, and 18 on your own.

Do you drink in from of your kids?..  yes i do I dont see anything wrong with it I have(I hope Its sunken in) thought them its ok to have a drink or two as long as they dont have too much and dont remember who they are or what they are doing now the thought of that scares the shit out of me with the fookers going around these days..
Have you ever been drunk in front of your kids? .. no I havnt simply because I havnt got drunk in years long before i got married... I drink martini( not the gin or vodka kind lol)and I love bailey's but these seem to have no effect on me I could have a few and not feel merry or tipsy...But when I drink wine now thats different I have been merry after a few glasses not drunk though a right saint am'nt I lol

What age did you drink the first time?  I think I was about 16, went out with my best mate who could drink vodka like water with no effect, tried to keep up!! Ended up being dropped on the doorstep, (dad always thought she was a bad influence) and ended up puking. Mum found out but luckily dad didnt!!! He would have grounded me till I married!!!
What age would you let your kids drink? We allow them a sip or two of ours now, not Nina of course. And a small glass of sparkling (champagne) on very special occasions.
Do you drink in from of your kids? Yes we both do.
Have you ever been drunk in front of your kids? Tipsy but never paraletic.
What age do you think a kid should be legal? I think 18 is resonable.

Oh and Nina's first word was very embarressingly 'cider'!!!!!!!
