For kids to choose their own clothes, ro to wear makeup?

Is it just me, or do you see little kids with skanky clothes and make up plastered?  It seems like it is too young to me.  Sure, at that age I wanted to as well, but do you ever think it is just too young?

my eldest son wears goth make-up hes dun it since he was 15 with supervision at first as he wanted to look totally ott but we compromised and he looks fine now but from a girls view point make-up at school is a no no after at discoetc is ok at age 15-16 ish

as for choosing own clothes I have always allowed my 2 to choose their own with guidance and now they both have a reasonable eye so I dont have to worry they are 18 and 14 but I do still go with the younger one cos I pay

Mine are all grown up ofcourse, but let mine 'choose' their clothes from about 2 or 3, colour, and thier favourite out of two or three I picked out.  Didin't have that much of a problem then ofcourse,
don't like to see  little kids in aduult clothes, a toddler on holiday had high heel shoes a crop top that said  'I'm Sexy'  and panties that said  'little devil'  and people wonder why perverts want to take pictures of their kids..........

My five all turned out different,  including a goth. but most rebelled and went trendy, as ofcourse being pagan I never was. but did dress the girls 'p.o.s.h.'  and insisted they wore 'childrens'   fashions.

Most teenagers seem to be clones these days,  The kids round here don't wear much makeup either, but if you have a problem with your, it is best to teach them how to wear it properly, and if you can't apply it 'properly'  it is worth getting them on a course. Never needed to wear it myself as I have good skin, and  colouring,

Ok here we go. I buy most of my kids clothes, tho Lollie will occasionally buy something herself now, age 13, if she has birthday money.
I will not tho allow her to buy or wear anything, too short, at all tarty or sluttish.
Grant of course really only wears trousers or shorts and t-shirts but I wouldnt let him wear anything with rude or stupid slogans on either.
Lollie does wear make up to school, but only a little and I have to admit she does do it very nicely. I have a couple of times asked and helped her to blend and tone down if I think it looks too heavy, but thats very rare, as she seems to be a natural at applying it.
