Morning all

I hope you all had a good day yesterday, in spite of not following tradition and going to my parents, it was the most relaxed, unrushed day we've ever had, it was great.  I did miss out on seeing my sister and her family but having spoken to them, we're now going to arrange a get together between now and when the men return to work

Today I'm doing another Xmas lunch which is what we always have on Boxing Day as Paul's dad normally comes, this year he won't be, unfortunately even though my cold has gone, I'm not over the chest infection and I daren't risk it, we've arranged for dad to come round next Tuesday and I'll do a roast with all the trimmings, he's more than happy to do that, but I'd never forgive myself if he came down with  something and I was the cause.

I'm up early as Kieran is doing a paper round and has to be at the shop for 7.15am, he's up but he's not fully with it yet lol

Depending on how everyone feels a bit later, we may take a trip to the coast for a brisk walk along the prom and pier lol (I know madness) but it's something that we've done up on Boxing Day since we got married until 5 years ago when f-i-l felt it was too much, if not I'm sure the kids will disappear with their new games or we'll resort to the rainy, too cold to go out stuff and have fun playing board games or on the Wii.

Whatever the weather, hope you all enjoy your day x

Morning all.  Just having my second cuppa of the day and a pain au chocolat .  Jerry and Oliver are off to the footie later so Rosie will have to amuse herself and I plan on doing lots of studying today as I have fallen way behind again .  Feels funny not seeing family on Christmas Day or Boxing Day (both sets of inlaws are out of the country), but it is very relaxing just pleasing ourselves.  It's a beautiful day here, almost spring-like!

Hope you all have a lovely Boxing Day!

Hi Jo enjoy your day with Rosie. Its lovely here too, sunny and fresh.

Our plan was to all go shopping for a new tv, but Mark & Grant went on their own instead and have just go back with a 40". They're just setting it up now and Mark's like a little kid at Xmas!!! He's been waiting ages to get one.

hiya
Well we took Adam down home again today, so the house seems very quiet.  Tried to find him a new laptop in the sales but due to the games he wants to play on it we cant find one at a cheap enough price...God love him he would sell his soul for a new laptop and has decided to use all his money andgave us all his vouchers too...but still al little way to go
We are now off to my brothers and s-i-l and could see it far enough as her parents etc will be there too....just want to chill out :-(

I am thinking so much of summer-as all we have had is one snow storm then a
rain storm with hurricane winds almost constantly for the 2-4 weeks.
So when I saw the above picture this morning I was hoping for better weather
and no power failures. There are still areas of Nova Scotia in the dark and have
had no power since last weekend. Some Christmas for some folks.Mine was
only off for 2 hours Christmas day but thank God for a generator.I got my
vegetables cooked and the turkey had been cooked the night before.

Other wise a very quiet Christmas

Best to everyone for 2009
