Good Morning all Hope everyone had a good night, I had wine and baileys and lots of coffee, eventually went to bed at 3.40am only to be woken at 6.20am by starving cats lol I worked on re-categorising games in the arcade almost all night, Paul & the kids were in bed well before midnight, so I sat on my own sorting - what a sad person I am lolol I wish you all a very Happy & Healthy New Year, this has got to be better than last year, having said that I can remember saying exactly the same about last year in 2007 lol Enjoy your 1st day of the year x |

Morning Rosemary. It takes a lot of time and effort to run a group well so I know where you're coming from. I tend to get totally engrossed in mine.
Last night I had a few glasses of wine, and we watched Corrie, Meet the Fockers, then we put the wii on and Mark and me had a tennis, baseball and bowling challenge. Nina joined in the bowling as we let her stay up with us this year. This morning my right shoulder is killing along with my hips and knees so today will be spent in a haze of caffeine and strong painkillers!!! It was worth the pain though!!! Happy new year everyone xxx

Morning! We had neighbours round at 5pm as they have small kids so they left by 10.30pm - so we went to bed and watched the tele to see the fireworks at midnight then fell asleep! lol It was a good night tho - did some Singstar and got my old records out and played things like my Fame LP!! We also played cards and board games, which the kids all loved! I drank loads but it had the wrong effect on me, made me sleepy!! darrnit!  Today, once I'm dressed  I'll make a nice roast dinner, then we plan on going for a bracing walk to blow away the cobwebs as I feel we've hardly left the house these hols! Happy New Year everyone! |

Good morning  Just me and Pierce last night we were to have Lettie and peter but Pierce is not well with a kidney infection(sp). So he was drinking tea and i was on the wine lol. Wine and chocolate not a bad night lol.. have a good day.. |

I will say Happy New Years Day to everyone. I have been waiting for the power to go out as we have been having snow since 10 pm last night. The weather forcasters are saying a good old fashion blizzard all day today. The meals here will depend on the power. Thank god for generators Hope this is not the beginning of what is to come this year Or it could be the end of miserable weather. Spring will not come soon enough |

Have only just switched the pc on....must be slipping!!! Had a great laugh last night even my grandparents (87years old) stayed here till 1am.....got up and did the clean up and late brekkie...then after everyone left today we went back to bed for a few hours lol If you havent seen it Peter Kay's,Special Kay,disc is worth the money...cried with laughter here Not went over the door today...too cold lol Off to the Giant's Causeway tomorow for the weekend so think I will get enough cobwebs and a few layers of skin removed then lol |
