Morning all The snow has just about gone but what is left and I've quite a bit sitting on my car is frozen solid, one of the coldest nights on record here for some time  Kids are back to school today, I shall wake them up shortly, then I have a doc's appt at 9.30am (seeing the 2nd opinion doc to review my shoulders), then picking up my sister to do her neighbours bits and bobs shop, post office, newspapers, tescos etc, then I'm having my nails done which is the rebooked appt from last week when I should have had them done but we had Paul's dad round for lunch so I cancelled. I shall get Paul an indian head massage voucher while I'm there, it can be the pressie from the kids for his birthday tomorrow. Apart from that, I've got some housewurk to do and new games to play and sort on my site Whatever the weather, have a good day all x |

Morning all. Kids are back at school today so I have the dreaded school run to do - I hate driving when it's icy (wait....I just hate driving lol). Then it's work, but today we have the Wild Waste Show coming to teach the kids about recycling with a puppet show and activities etc, so it should be good. Oliver has Cubs later. Enjoy the shopping and getting your nails done Rosemary. Have a great day all. |

Hi Jo have a good day hun and stay safe.
I've been out with Mum this morning for coffee and shopping, then off up to work early to discuss my health situation with Pauline. She's heard back from county who've sent her a form for wellbeing at work. I'll have an appointment with them (occupational health), and they'll do their best to help me get back to the job I love, hopefully!!! Today I actually was asked to mentor the new dinner lady, show her how we work etc. Pauline explained to her that I'd need to sit for most of lunch but I was on hand to answer her questions and I showed her round the first aid room etc. It just made me realise how much I miss my job and the kids. It was so much fun to be back out with them. Fingers crossed I'll get fixed this year and back to it properly :) |

oh god!! not wellbeing at work :s
I've had a stressful day today, the lady that does our student records is on long term sick, the lady they had in last term to cover they let go at the end of autumn term...so today i have a pile of student record stuff dumped on my desk... 'oh gail could you just...?!?!?'
So i've said i will do it for a week or two, and we can monitor how much work it involves, if i find it too much i'm putting me foot down and telling them i'm not doing it
